It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Shawn Charles Robbins, age 43, of Nicholson, on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Shawn was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. A proud third-generation dairy farmer, he owned and operated Robbins Dairy Farm alongside his beloved wife and best friend, Marja, and their children, Carter Charles and Raelyn Marie. His dedication to his family and to the land he cherished was evident in everything he did.
Born on July 14, 1982, in Tunkhannock, Shawn was the son of Donald and Barbara Robbins. He was a graduate of Mountain View High School, Class of 2000, where he enjoyed playing basketball, and later earned his degree from Johnson College. Shawn carried his strong work ethic and practical skills into every aspect of his life, earning him a reputation as a dependable and capable “jack of all trades.”
Beyond his work, Shawn found joy in life’s simple pleasures—his love for farming, his International Harvester tractors, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, relaxing by campfires, and creating lasting memories with his family. He especially treasured time spent listening to country music and taking annual trips to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
Shawn will be deeply missed by his parents; his extended family; and the many friends and neighbors whose lives he touched with his kindness and willingness to help others. His legacy of generosity and quiet strength will endure.
A private service will be held on the family farm. In his memory, all are encouraged to honor Shawn’s spirit by paying kindness forward or simply enjoying a glass of milk in appreciation of the life he so proudly lived.
