Ethan “Tuff” Bedwell, age 18, passed away on April 19, 2026. He was born on April 9, 2008, in Jackson, Tennessee, to Shannon and Priscilla Bedwell.
Ethan, affectionately known as “Tuff” by his family and friends, was a member of the Scotts Hill High School Class of 2026. He was widely remembered for his quiet generosity and consistent willingness to help others without expecting recognition or reward. His actions reflected a strong sense of kindness and humility that left a lasting impression on those around him.
He was a faithful member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, where he was often seen sitting in the front row during services on Sundays and Wednesdays. He actively participated in the Men’s Group and valued his faith as an important part of his life. Ethan was also a hardworking young man who worked alongside his father as a concrete finisher, showing dedication and pride in his work.
Outside of work and church, Ethan enjoyed spending time outdoors, often riding his Razor. He especially valued time with his family, including his nieces and nephew, who lovingly called him “Uncle T.” He was known as a loyal, dependable, and supportive friend to many.
He is survived by his parents, Shannon and Priscilla Bedwell; his brothers Brandon Bedwell (Kiley) and Bronsen Bedwell (Layla); his sister Brookelynn Bedwell; his nieces Lainee Mae Bedwell and Gracie Jo Bedwell; and his nephew Dallas Grant Bedwell.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Rock Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
