It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jovanna Saily Reyes, age 24, of Haines City, Florida, who departed this life on April 17, 2026.
Jovanna was born on July 16, 2001, in San Mateo, Florida, to Juan M. Reyes and Patricia Benavides Reyes. She spent most of her life in San Mateo before relocating to Polk County in 2025. She was known for her dedication, kindness, and strong work ethic, building her career in customer service as an Insurance Claims Specialist with the Walmart Corporation.
Throughout her life, Jovanna was cherished by her family and loved ones for her gentle nature, loyalty, and caring heart. She brought warmth and support to those around her and will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the meaningful connections she maintained throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Juan Benavides, whose memory remained close to her heart.
Jovanna is survived by her loving parents, Juan M. Reyes and Patricia Benavides Reyes; her brothers Juan Ayala of Bowling Green, Florida, Jorge Ayala of North Carolina, and Jordian Ayala of Bowling Green, Florida; and her sisters Ashley Ayala of Bowling Green, Florida and Evelyn Reyes of Lake Wales, Florida. She is also survived by her beloved nieces Aria Ayala and Anhelena Ayala, her nephew Elizandro Toledo, her grandmother Elida Benavides, and her grandparents Encarnacíon Reyes and Ubalda Peña, along with extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 1, 2026, with burial to follow at Bowling Green Cemetery.
Jovanna Saily Reyes will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
