After sharing a meaningful evening with his beloved wife, Winifred, including preparing an enjoyable dinner together, he later settled in to rest in his favorite chair. With his cherished companion, Star the Maltese, at his feet and surrounded by the beauty of Carson Valley—a place he deeply loved—he passed away quietly and peacefully.
His departure came in a moment of calm and familiarity, in the place he called home, and in the manner in which he always valued most: with grace, independence, and on his own terms. It was a peaceful farewell to a life lived with authenticity, passion, and creative spirit.
