In response, the college’s emergency alert system was activated, sending timely notifications through text messages, emails, and other communication channels. Students and staff were instructed to shelter in place, secure classrooms and offices, and remain indoors while law enforcement assessed the situation.
Local law enforcement agencies responded swiftly, conducting a thorough sweep of the campus and surrounding areas. After an extensive investigation, officials confirmed that no active shooter was present and no victims were found.
