It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Todd M. Lembcke, age 64, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, who passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Todd was born on March 31, 1962, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Byron and Virginia (Dorman) Lembcke. On June 3, 1989, he married Sheila Tessen in Waupaca, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love, faith, and shared purpose.
In that same year, Todd and Sheila founded Sunshine Heating, starting humbly in his father’s garage. Through dedication and vision, the business grew and later expanded into its own facility. Todd approached his work with both skill and curiosity, possessing an engineer’s mindset and a passion for understanding how things worked. He was a natural problem-solver and a forward thinker who embraced new ideas and opportunities.
In 2013, Todd and his family purchased the Red Mill, a project close to his heart. His vision extended beyond restoration—he hoped to create a welcoming place where people could gather, find peace, and experience a sense of community grounded in faith. Todd lived with a deep sense of gratitude, often expressing how blessed he felt by his family and life.
He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the genuine warmth he shared with others. His smile and presence had a way of uplifting those around him, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did. His children were his greatest pride, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Todd is survived by his wife, Sheila; his children, Joshua (Michelle), Jordan (Portia), Justin, Jarrett, and Isabella; four grandchildren; his brother Bruce (Marti); his sister Nancy (Bruce); and extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.
