It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Taylor Ashtyn (Zeedrich) Kelly, age 34, of Minerva, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Taylor’s journey was one defined by remarkable strength and resilience. She first faced cancer at the age of four, enduring a second battle shortly thereafter, and later confronting a third diagnosis with the same unwavering courage that inspired all who knew her. Despite the challenges she faced, Taylor lived her life with grace, determination, and a deep commitment to caring for others.
Born in Canton, Ohio, to Rhonda (Stowe) Zeedrich and Tyler Zeedrich, Taylor grew into a compassionate and dedicated professional. A 2010 graduate of Minerva High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in 2014. While pursuing her nursing education at Aultman College, she worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant at Aultman Hospital. She later served as a Registered Nurse at Salem West Healthcare Center and Arbors at Minerva before achieving her dream role as a school nurse with the Stark County Health Department, serving the Osnaburg Local School District. In this role, she made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless students and families.
Taylor married her husband, Jacob Kelly, on September 4, 2021, and together they welcomed their daughter, Meara Faye, in November 2022. Her family was her greatest joy. She treasured time spent gardening, sharing quiet moments watching movies with her daughter, and caring for her beloved pets.
She is survived by her husband, daughter, parents, siblings, extended family, and many loved ones. Taylor will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and the love she shared so freely.
Her legacy of courage and kindness will endure in all who knew her.
